What You Need to Know about Bravery
When we were younger, our parents used to read us stories of a prince saving a princess from an evil witch. It was an endless tale of love, heroism, and bravery that inspired to grow into better individuals. Although these stories are rather symbolic in nature, they often depict reality in a variety of ways. You may also see blank award certificate examples.
There have been many real-life stories of people (and animals) exhibiting acts of bravery during the most critical of times. It could be anything from climbing up a tall tree to rescue a trapped kitten, to running into a burning building to save an old lady stuck in her bedroom. It’s not easy to be brave, especially when there are so many things in life that scare us. You may also like examples of certificate of appreciation.
So, why do people still act brave despite their fears?
Imagine this: you witnessed a serious accident take place right in front of you. A huge truck hit a minivan with a mother and her three daughters inside. The impact of the crash caused the minivan to tumble multiple times across the freeway. The minivan catches fire, with time ticking and help still on the way, what do you do? The worst case scenario is to pick up your mobile phone and record as the whole event transpires. A family’s life is on the line, and you’re worried about getting the best footage? As everyone stands there contemplating what to do, you see a man rush out of his car and spring into action.
Normally, the sight of blood causes you to freak out uncontrollably, but at the time, this is the last thing that crosses your mind. You assist the man as he carries out each passenger one by one. Nearly everyone in the scene comes to help out in any way they can. Just a few seconds after the vehicle is cleared, it bursts into flames. Imagine if the man wasn’t brave enough to respond immediately, putting his own life at risk. Imagine if nobody, including yourself, had the initiative to help the man out. Would the entire family, including the man, live to tell the story?

The boys were found almost two weeks later, and rescue efforts were underway. But the group and their rescuers were forced to face serious dangers for the mission to push through. Apart from the extreme conditions and limited access to the cave, oxygen levels were decreasing at an alarming rate.
To keep the children and their coach alive, oxygen tanks were delivered by professional divers for their medical team and the boys to use. However, on July 5, a highly trained Thai diver named Saman Gunan lost consciousness on his way out of the cave after delivering oxygen for the boys.
