With this, military forces were forced to fight to protect their land from external powers. Some individuals volunteered, while others were simply drafted. This came as nations felt the need to prepare a strong force due to their lack of manpower.

Because of this, these people deserve to be recognized. Individuals who served the military and federal government during these dark times are authorized to receive a modern certificate template.

How to Get a Cold War Certificate?

First of all, you need to be eligible for the award certificate. The United States government provides such certificate to individuals who served during the Cold War, specifically between September 2, 1945, to December 26, 1991. Individuals who have served even just for a day are considered to be qualified to receive the award.

To apply for the certificate, you must have enough proof of your service. For deceased veterans, one’s next-of-kin may be responsible for doing so. Any document that shows that a person was in fact an employee of the government or part of the military will do. You must also fill out an application example for this. This may be found in the army’s website.

Finally, take note that original documents should never be sent indiscriminately, as they will not be returned.
