It is a strategic plan in preventing emergencies to happen, what to do when it occurs, how to react to the situation and what to do after and how to recover from that situation.
What to Include in an Emergency Action Plan
Emergency action plans should not be kept but should be distributed to the whole organization and must be available at all times.
In writing an emergency action plan, a list of all the location of important utilities, exits and other facilities should be present and if possible, shown as a picture with directions. Action plans should be detailed and should also be practiced to prepare everyone before emergencies actually happens.
