Tips for Planning a Preschool Schedule
Managing preschoolers can be really tough. However, with a preschool schedule, the task will be a lot bearable. Here’s how you plan for an effective preschool schedule example:
- Create a list of activities. Determine what activities you want your students to do. Planning the activities ahead of time will also let you identify the needed materials for each activity.
- Determine the time needed to complete each activity. Each activity may vary on time. Estimate the time it takes for each activity to be completed.
- Divide the time of the day and carefully allocate each activity to each division. Carefully divide each day, depending on your activities.
- Always leave a room for break time (e.g. snacks, lunch, etc). We know the a child’s attention span can last for a very short while. So you’ll be needing breaks from time to time to keep them motivated throughout your whole class.
- Add some creativity to your schedule. You can add a touch of creativity to stimulate your eyes, or your student’s schedule. Add some colorful images, and things which you deem worthy of adding.
- Recheck and polish your preschool schedule. It’s not much, you just need to check for errors.
