What is a Sworn Statement?
A Sworn Statement is also called a Sworn Declaration that is written in a document form containing facts that are necessary in legal proceedings. This is seldom compared to an affidavit but the difference is that a sworn statement does not need to be witnessed or signed by a certain public official. This has paragraphs that contain the signature of the person who made the statement, thus making a stand that all the claims presented were true.
