How to Write Graduation Party Invitations

If you’re going to make one, then be sure that you follow these steps:

1. Place in the Reason for the Party

Nobody’s going to want to attend a party if they don’t even know why it’s being held.  If you’re throwing a summer party, then naturally it would be placed in the summer party invitation as to why you’re holding it. It’s the same for a graduation party invitation.

You’ll want to add a short description in regards to the graduation and who you’re holding it for.  You can write down the words “Graduation Party” in big letters, just make sure that it’s clear as to what you’re celebrating

2. The Name or Names of the People Who are the Reason for the Graduation Party

If you’re going to make farewell party invitations, then naturally the invitees would want to know who they’re saying farewell to. So since you’re making a graduation party invitation, you want to tell the invitees as to who you’re honoring the party too.

You should write down the complete name of the person graduating so that people won’t end up being confused. If you’re holding the party for the entire class, then it’s best that you write “Class of” followed by the year when everyone graduated.

3. When and Where the Party Will Take Place

You want your guests to know when you expect them to be at the party so all of the fun party activities can start when you need them to. So you have to be precise when you’re writing down both the date and time just like if you were making formal Holiday Party Invitations for a fancy party.

Sometimes it’s best that you start the party by 7 and state in the invitation that everything starts at 6. The reason for this is because you want to give people a bit of leeway as there’s always going to be that possibility that they won’t arrive at the time you naturally expect them to; so it’s best to give yourself some sort of allowance.

Also, please don’t forget to place in the complete address of where you’re going to hold your party. You don’t want these people ending up somewhere else and resulting in your party becoming a total dud.

4. The Right Images

If there aren’t any images in your invitation, then it’ll just end up looking bland and that won’t exactly scream “party” to the receiver. Also, if you’re going to choose images, you have to make sure that they match the theme of what you’re going for.

So let’s say that you’re creating cocktail party invitations for that formal cocktail party that you want to hold. Naturally, you want pictures of fancy dinnerware or people in clean suits. If it’s a graduation party, then all you have to do on your end is have images of people graduating or the person to whom you’re honoring the party too.
