Dear Sarah,
Hey! How’s everything going? I hope you’re crushing it with your school projects and band practice. Remember our last science lab with the robot kits? I still can’t believe our robot actually managed to navigate the maze. Teamwork for the win!
This past weekend, I got to try something really cool—kayaking at Crystal Lake. It was my first time paddling on my own, and although I got splashed a bunch, it was incredible. The water was so clear, I could see fish swimming below! It made me think of our upcoming environmental science project. Maybe we could focus on local water bodies? What do you think?
I saw on social media that your band had a gig last Friday. How did it go? You guys always come up with the best song covers, and I was bummed to miss it. Hopefully, I can catch the next one. Maybe you could teach me a few chords sometime? I’d love to learn how to play the guitar.
Also, I heard there’s a new art exhibit coming to the town museum next month, featuring young artists. Since we both love checking out new art, maybe we could go together? It could be a fun day out, and we could grab some ice cream afterwards.
Please write back when you get a chance. I enjoy hearing from you and keeping up with all the exciting things you’re doing. And let’s definitely plan for that museum trip!
Take care and see you at school,
Jordan
