NOTICE

Environmental Awareness Week

Date: March 1, 2024

To All Class 9 Students,

We are excited to announce that Central High School will be observing an Environmental Awareness Week from March 15th to March 20th, 2024. This initiative is aimed at fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for environmental conservation among our students.

Event Highlights:

• Dates: March 15th – March 20th, 2024
• Activities: Tree planting, Clean-up drives, Workshops on recycling, Guest lectures on climate change, Eco-friendly project competition
• Venue: Various locations within and outside the school premises

Participation Details:

• All students of Class 9 are encouraged to participate.
• Registration for specific activities will open on March 5th, 2024, and close on March 10th, 2024. Please sign up with Mr. Kevin Brooks, our Environmental Club coordinator.
• Students participating in the eco-friendly project competition must submit their project ideas by March 10th, 2024, for approval.

Important Information:

• Volunteers for organizing and leading activities are welcome. Interested students should contact Mr. Brooks by March 5th.
• Students are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor activities during the event.

This week-long event is a great opportunity for you to contribute positively to our environment while learning more about sustainability practices. We look forward to active participation from everyone. Let’s work together to make a difference!
