Narrative

On October 21, 2024, at approximately 3:45 PM, I, Officer Mark Stevens, was dispatched to 234 Oak Street in response to a complaint of harassment. Upon arrival, I spoke with the victim, Jessica Parker, who reported that she has been receiving threatening text messages and phone calls from an individual she identified as Thomas Reed, a former co-worker.

Parker stated that the harassment began on October 15, 2024, after she declined a social invitation from Reed. Since then, she has received over 20 threatening texts, including statements such as, “You’ll regret this,” and “I know where you live.” She also received several late-night phone calls from a blocked number. Parker expressed fear for her safety and is concerned the situation may escalate.

Parker provided screenshots of the text messages as evidence. She has not had any further personal contact with Reed but indicated that Reed knows her home address and workplace. No physical altercation has occurred. Parker was advised to block Reed’s number and consider applying for a restraining order.
