Narrative

On August 19, 1999, at approximately 8:00 PM, I, Officer Sarah Mitchell, was dispatched to 789 Pine Street in response to a report of a missing person. Upon arrival, I spoke with the reporting person, Linda Harris, the mother of Daniel Harris, who reported her 16-year-old son missing.

Linda stated that Daniel left their home on August 19, 1999, around 4:00 PM to meet friends at the local park but did not return home. She became concerned when Daniel did not answer his phone, and his friends reported that they had not seen him that evening. Linda stated that it is unusual for Daniel to stay out past curfew or go long periods without checking in.

Linda contacted nearby relatives and searched common places where Daniel might go but was unable to locate him. She confirmed that Daniel does not have a history of running away or any known issues with friends or family. Daniel was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, jeans, and black sneakers.
