Narrative

On October 21, 2024, at approximately 1:00 PM, I, Officer Laura Davis, was dispatched to 456 Willow Lane in response to a domestic disturbance call. Upon arrival, I spoke with the victim, Maria Thompson, who reported that her husband, John Thompson, had been verbally abusive and made threatening gestures toward her and their two children during an argument.

Maria stated that while no physical violence occurred, she and the children felt unsafe due to John’s aggressive behavior. She reported that John has a history of similar outbursts, which have been escalating in frequency over the past month. During today’s incident, Maria locked herself and the children in a bedroom until John left the house. She expressed fear that the situation could worsen and lead to physical harm.
