I am writing to formally announce my resignation from my position as a third-grade teacher at Sunset Elementary School, effective May 25, 2024. This was not an easy decision to make and came after considerable deliberation about my family’s needs.

The reason for my resignation is to attend to significant family responsibilities that require my full-time attention. This decision aligns with my commitment to being there for my family during a critical time of need.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sunset Elementary and am deeply grateful for the opportunities to grow professionally and personally. Working alongside such supportive colleagues and teaching such enthusiastic young minds has been immensely rewarding.

During the remaining weeks, I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition.
