Dear Ms. Right,

I am writing to formally resign from my position as a Science Teacher at Harmony High School, effective May 25, 2024. This decision has not been made lightly and comes after careful consideration of my personal and professional growth path.

Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of working with dedicated colleagues and teaching a diverse group of students who have enriched my life in countless ways. The support and inspiration I have received from the school community have played a pivotal role in my decision to pursue further studies. This fall, I will be joining the Graduate Program in Environmental Science at the University of Wellbeing.

I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition and will do everything in my power to hand over my responsibilities effectively. I plan to finalize all grading, organize teaching materials, and assist in the process of finding a qualified replacement during the next few weeks.

I am profoundly grateful for the opportunities to develop professionally and personally that Harmony High School has provided me. Thank you for your understanding and support throughout my tenure and especially now as I transition into this new phase of my academic career.
