There are three parts of self-concept namely the ideal self, self-image and self-esteem. The ideal self refers to the kind of person you want to be. Self concept usually begins during early childhood phase. In psychology, it explains well the how self-concept begin to develop through ages. A self-concept speech is a type of public speaking that enables a speaker to tell the audience about who the speaker think he or she is. It is simply telling who you are. We may also base ourselves on what other people try to reflect upon us. For example, they perceive a certain as a good friend. Each of us also may experience being involved in a social comparison wherein people can see through similarities and differences between two persons. Although there are times that we are able to compare ourselves to others, we should also know that each one of us has unique qualities that which allows us to fit in into the society.

After that, use a transition statement before you proceed to another paragraph. The body should contain an explanation of the central idea, a short story that supports your central idea and a few more examples telling how would it affect your future.
